How Botulinum Toxin Injections Work

BOTOX
Botox injections will only be an option after a consultation to determine whether they are suitable for you. Botox is a popular cosmetic treatment used to reduce the appearance of both static and dynamic lines, helping individuals achieve a smoother, more youthful-looking complexion.
Before Botox treatment, you will need to have a consultation to ensure it is safe to go ahead with the treatment. During the consultation we will discuss your concerns and explore your wishes and I will explain the process. I will ask about your medical history and any medications you take to ascertain if there are any reasons why Botulinum toxin treatment should not be used.
Between the Eyebrows: This is to soften “11’s” or the deep parallel frown lines that occur between the eyebrows or crowsfeet.

PROCEDURE
During the treatment I will administer small injections of botulinum toxin directly into the targeted facial muscles using a fine needle. The procedure is relatively quick and typically well-tolerated, with minimal discomfort
